Coding that Counts in the Classroom.

A STEM enrichment program that aligns with your School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).

Don't just fill an hour of after-school time. Fill it with Geometry, Logic, and Engineering. From Kindergarten spatial reasoning to High School Python algebra, CodeFu SFV delivers measurable academic value disguised as fun.

  • The "Digital Sandbox" for Geometry & Earth Science

    • Academic Focus: Spatial reasoning, volume calculation, and environmental modeling.

    • The Student Does: Builds a house using limited resources.

    • The Math They Use: Students must calculate Area (Floor Plan) and Volume (3D space) to ensure their structure fits grid constraints.

Key Standard:CCSS.MATH.5.MD.C.3 (Recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures).t goes here

  • Logic, Sequencing, & The Coordinate Plane

    • Academic Focus: Cartesian coordinates (X, Y axis), narrative sequencing, and cause-and-effect logic.

    • The Student Does: Animates a character moving across the screen.

    • The Math They Use: Students use negative and positive integers on the X and Y axes to control movement and position.

Key Standard:CCSS.MATH.6.NS.C.8 (Graphing points in all four quadrants of the coordinate plane).

  • Algebra, Syntax, & Engineering Design

    • Academic Focus: Variables, functions, syntax, and complex problem solving.

    • The Student Does: Writes a script to calculate a score or solve a puzzle.

    • The Math They Use: Students define variables (Algebra) and create functions (Input/Output rules) to automate tasks.

Key Standard:CCSS.MATH.HSA.SSE.A.1 (Interpret expressions that represent a quantity in terms of its context).

  • Structure, Syntax, & Proportional Reasoning

    • Academic Focus: Hierarchical organization (Nested Tags), Ratios (Responsive Design), and hexadecimal number systems.

    • The Student Does: Codes a responsive website layout from a blank page.

    • The Math They Use: Students apply percentages and ratios to define element widths relative to the screen size (e.g., width: 50%) and use Hexadecimal codes (Base-16 math) to mix RGB colors.

Key Standard:CCSS.MATH.6.RP.A.3 (Use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical problems).

Domain           Standard              CodeFu Application
