Scratch Video Game Design (2nd-5th) at Woodland Hills Private School

Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:15 pm
Class Dates: December 3, 10, 17 ; January 7, 14, 21, 28 ; February 4, 11, 18
In this course, students will dive deeper into coding by designing interactive games and animated stories using Scratch, a block-based programming platform. They’ll learn to apply core programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, variables, and event-driven logic to bring their ideas to life. Students will start by outlining game mechanics or story flow, then build their projects step-by-step using code blocks to control characters, add sound effects, and create engaging user interactions.
